Welcome to Oticrature¹, a space in which we will analyze and discuss worldwide literary works. In order to understand the importance of a work here in evidence, we will use some concepts of semiotics², as well as explore some historical and biographical information with it correlated. The content will be didactic and, at some point, appear to be for literature beginners. The main proposal for this endeavor will be providing study material so anybody can apply it into our discussions. This journal is for everyone who loves or wants to love and understand the complexity of the art of word, and the goal of Oticrature is to make it interesting, understandable and, most of all, enjoyable.
There will be a special dedication to the Brazilian and Portuguese literatures, as the author has a great appreciation to it, in a way to spread its fascinating catalog of art piece to an audience who probably doesn’t know any – or almost any – of it. We hope you find this space helpful for a future literature adventure.
